Deborah qualified with the firm as a Solicitor in 1989 initially as a commercial litigator before moving to deal primarily with company commercial work in the early 1990’s.

Deborah advises clients at all levels, from individuals and start-up businesses right through to the established business preparing for floatation or sale.

With a solid reputation for a sound understanding of both the legal and practical issues of running a business in the modern environment, Deborah strives to understand her clients’ business and practical requirements to ensure, as far as is possible, they achieve the result they desire.

She also has considerable experience advising international clients in matters from individual agreements to multiparty joint ventures and has clients based in the UAE, Lebanon, France, USA and Saudi Arabia.

Given her background, Deborah also acts in a consultancy role to the Dispute Resolution department, particularly when matters are of a commercial or financial nature, as this allows her to import her commercial knowledge to a broad range of cases.

As Deborah has had an interest in matrimonial matters throughout her career, when required she assists the Matrimonial Department in relation primarily to matrimonial finance given her commercial background.
