Ellie became a trainee solicitor with Sookias & Sookias in 2010, having previously worked at the Home Office as a Case-owner and Presenting Officer making decisions on asylum and human rights cases and representing the Home Office at Tribunals in relation to all types of immigration decision. In March 2012, Ellie qualified as a solicitor and  stayed on at Sookias & Sookias.

Ellie studied law at the University of Sheffield and undertook the LPC at BPP London.

Ellie has experience in immigration law, including entry clearance applications, in –country applications for leave to remain both in and outside the immigration rules, settlement, naturalisation and appeals. Ellie has advised companies as well as individuals.

In addition, Ellie has experience in family law, litigation (including international litigation) and probate. She is currently working in the offshore company and tax department where she advises individuals, trust and companies.

In her spare time Ellie enjoys playing sports including netball, tennis, skiing and sailing.
