Robert is an Iranian Armenian born in Tehran, Iran. He was primary eductated in Iran, and then when his family relocated to England, received the remainder of his education in London.
He began work as a property agent before qualifying as a Solicitor in March 1983. In May 1985, he established Sookias & Sookias with his brother Michael.
Robert is the head of both the Property and Immigration departments.

Robert is a member of the Law Society Property Section, the Immigration Law Practitioners Association and The Lawyers Christian Fellowship.
