Yen Knott


Yen Knott joined the firm in September 2015 as a Paralegal, after completing the GDL and LPC at the University of Law (formerly known as the College of Law), and being awarded an LLB.  She commenced her training in July 2016, and qualified as a Solicitor in July 2018.

She also graduated with a BA Hons from Durham University in Mandarin and Management Studies, with distinction.

Having worked with in-house lawyers during her 15 years as a Business Analyst for a multinational corporation, Yen led cross-border (3 continents) commercial projects, two of which have been patented in USA.

She has also worked on cases in Personal Injury and in the in-house legal department for an insurance company.

Yen has held the post of Trustee of a local church for 3 years, acting as a Deacon and subsequently as an Elder, forming part of the leadership team, overseeing the spiritual needs of individuals and management of the church.  She is therefore used to helping people from all walks of life and backgrounds.

Yen is also qualified to Level 2 in Christian Counselling with ACC (Association of Christian Counsellors).

Being able to help clients to reach a solution for their issues is a great privilege in her work.

Yen speaks conversational Mandarin, Vietnamese, and basic French and German.
